I have been so busy I have not had time to blog! And it is only going to get more busy as the month unfolds. I have so many things planned for October and November so just keep checking back in for lots og goodness!! I want to thank you all for referring all those new moms to me for my casting call I am still looking for a few more babies. And just because no post is worth reading unless it has a picture attached I give you something to see! Just a few pictures of Trystin that I took over the weekend and there is more where they come from!
During my regular newborn sessions, I strive to capture a variety of poses, blanket and backdrop changes, groupings and settings to give my clients a gallery full of images that they will cherish. As an artist, I am always dreaming up new ideas and for a limited time, I will be looking for certain newborn models to help me fulfill these visions. Ideas that may require either a little more time than should be spent during a regular newborn session, an un-typical location and / or a specific model type. I am hoping to find the perfect match by offering up a casting call.
The current casting calls are for:
• 1 newborn baby, one week of age or younger with a Daddy who has long, muscular arms. Tattoos are OK (actually more than OK!).
• 1 newborn baby, one week of age or younger with a Mommy who has kept trim and fit during her pregnancy (the remaining “pooch” is Ok, unavoidable and preferred!).
• Newborn twins, either one week of age or within one week of age of coming home from the NICU (preferably with minimal time spent in the NICU).
• 1 newborn(s) with older sibling approximately 4 years of age or older.
• 1 newborn(s) who is due with parents willing to venture outdoors.
• 1 dark skinned newborn, plus one of the above call outs.
When agreeing to provide your newborn for marketing session, you will receive 75% off of prints and gallery wraps and a complimentary 11×14 print. Your session fee is waived too! Individual digital files for birth announcements may be purchased for $50.00.
Images will be used for portfolio and marketing purposes. Parents must sign a model release in agreements to terms.
Sessions will be held in the afternoons during the week. Parents must be willing to allow me to set up the shots that “I” need for my marketing purposes. If you’re looking for your own ideas to be shot you will need to schedule a regular photo session with me instead.
In order to qualify you must:
Contact me as soon as possible to temporarily book your session. Newborns should be photographed within the first 10 days of birth.Once the baby is born (preferably the same day or the next) you must contact me to schedule your actual session date. Otherwise you may loose your free session option.
This girl… man is she beautiful! Inside and out. She is such a sophisticated and classy young lady. I loved working with her and she has such a good head on her shoulders and a bright future ahead of her. Caroline thank you for allowing me to capture you and all your beauty! I wish you all the luck in the world moving forward in your life.
My absolute favorite from the day! I think I was getting eaten alive by ants at this time. But oh so worth it!

Tyler started his photo shoot out being a little shy towards me but by the end I had made a new friend! He is a fun and energetic little boy and I cant wait to take his portraits again. Thanks again Leslie for choosing me to capture these beautiful moments.

Ok so I went to see Jude for the first time today and boy is he a cutie! I just love babies, and the fact that he is a boy is even better! I think that everyone who knows me knows that if I was guaranteed a boy I would have one tomorrow! Well thats not a given so I will just have to wait. Untill then you may see a lot of Jude cause I sure can’t get enough of him.

I love, love, love to take maternity portraits and it is always more fun with someone you are comfortable with and is willing to try anything! Well, Kelly and Steven were a blast and she was such a good sport even though it was so hot and sticky out. I know that when I was pregnant all I wanted was air conditioning! She is a beautiful woman and that baby belly fits her perfectly. Without further ado…
So shy and sweet. Just the way I like them and easy to please. This little cutie was one of the last shoots for the day and boy was she a trooper. The sun was so bright and all she could do was squint and smile as big as she could. We made the best of what we had and I think we got some good shots. Hope mom is pleased. More to come soon I promise!
Watch out cause this little girl will steal your heart in a minute!! All that beauty. I don’t even know what to say. I just love everything about her, blue eyes, blond hair, full lips! What more can you ask for?? Except for her to hold still for a minute and let me snap a picture. Boy did she give me a run for my money! But the end result was BEAUTIFUL!
This one takes my breath away. I know it’s not what you expect but I just had to post it. Guess it’s just the artist in me!
