Well today is Tryssiepoo’s first birthday and I was unable to go see her. I feel like I am missing something important. I feel like it is my duty to make sure she is happy. Why? I really don’t know except for the fact that the rest of my family have completely lost all their minds!!! Crazy ass people. I want to be the person that doesn’t worry and I want to even not care sometimes but I am not that person! It is so hard for me to except the fact that I cannot fix everyone and that it is ultimately in Gods hands. I need to do this for me. I need to do this for my family. I am not perfect and no matter how hard I try I never will be. Phewww I feel a little better now. Well I am going to do my part and we ARE going to give her a nice little party at our house the next time I get her. Then I will have some cute pictures to show every one of her diggin’ in her cake!!! Well thanks for listening if you did. If not that’s OK too! I understand.
So I have been so busy with the holidays and all that is going on in my life that I almost forgot to take some time to photograph the Christmas tree! It is something that I do every year, kind of a tradition I started when I began scrapbooking. Our tree is almost always different or unusual colors. And this year it is no exception! I based the color scheme from a peacocks feather and then added some to the tree as a finishing touch. I loved it so much that I just might use it again next year! Which would be a first in over 10 years! Well to get to the point. I was on a favorite photographers blog and she had a contest to take a self portrait and the winner would get privite lesson from her. As much as I would have loved to enter I am way too much of a chicken! So I didn’t but this would have been a GREAT shot! I love it! And if you don’t see me just look in the bulb. By the way this certin photographer had the same color scheme! Wow I love it.
