As most of you know my laptop went kaput about a month ago and I have been struggling to use it, having to hook it up to a external monitor (thanks to Lindsay!!). Any who, Derrick being the sweet man that he is decided to buy me a new one!! Yeah me!! So it arrived today and I am on my way to check it out! I can never thank him enough for all he does for me. He really does spoil me rotten… but shhhh dont tell him I know that!!!
Okay so last night was a late night for me. I am off today and got to sleep in so I played with some of miss Ashton’s pictures. I really like the outcome!!! So Let me know what yo think!!
So as I promised here are some of the shots from Saturday. Ashton I an aspiring model and need so new pictures for her portfolio. As you can see she is a tall beautiful blond bomb shell! She really has what it takes to go wherever the modeling industry can take her. I wish her all the best of luck and am honored that she chose me to shoot her portfolio. Good luck Ashton! So on Friday I decided to splurge and go and buy a new lens. I decided after talking to a good resource that I needed a good portrait lens. So here is my new baby! The Nikon 50mm f/1.8. It is a prime lens and perfect for low light situations like church weddings and such. Later today I will be posting some pics from a shoot I did this weekend.
Everyone has there own toys mine just happen to be really expensive! Derrick says it will be the death of him!!! My camera equipment that is. He works hard and I spend it all at B&H. But the good news for him is that my last purchase was on me!!! I have been wanting a fish eye lens ever since I saw some of the cool shots that Dawn and Stacy do with theirs. Now I have one of my very own. I cant say I have had any time to play with it but I have it and that good enough for me!! Here Is a Picture that my friend Elizabeth took of me at the festival. It was taken with my new lens but does not do it any justice. So I promise that I will make time to play with it and post you guys some fun shots soon!
