Ok so I am looking to improve in any way possible. I would do anything to be able to have the money to attend some of the worlds best photography workshops. But the lord knows I don’t! So I am trying to win a spot to Kelly Moore’s Give Me More workshop. She is one of my favorite photographers and I am so glad that she is giving away this spot! All I have to do is post a single photo of myself and have all my friends vote for me. Sounds easy enough huh? Well I cant do it without YOU! So if you have a spare minute or two please go and place your vote for me! The voting begins at 12:00 noon on Monday, November the 9th. Below I have posted the link so all you have to do is click and find my picture and vote! Thanks again for your time and wish me luck!!!

Well here she is. She was not easy but I never gave up hope that she could do it! So after 4 visits and countless of outtakes we got something I could work with. She is so darn precious and I just love to hold her and smell her new baby smell. She slept for almost 45 minuets and allowed me to prop and pose her however I wanted. I just love this part of my job!

Look at her little smile!

I just love this one. I think it just might be my favorite.

WIDE awake!!! But at least she has good eye contact!

I never thought we would be able to pull this one off!

One of my best friends Teri asked me to take pictures of her boys and man was I excited! She was the most handsome little men this side of the Mississippi! So we decided to start with the youngest Bowen. She always says how he keeps her on her toes and now I can see why! He is ready to go and doesn’t stand still for very long. You kinda just have to snap -n- go with him! I sure do love them Davis boys and you will see much more of them to come! But here is a few of Bowen to tide you over.

I had the pleasure of taking Parker’s 9 month portraits and a few with mommy and daddy too. We started out on campus and then headed to the pumpkin patch to see all there was to see! He absolutely loves it outside. He couldn’t stop staring at all there was to see. Edie I think this should be a regular event for him he loved it so much! So I thought I would share a few for now. He is just so darn cute!!! Don’t you think?!!

It’s times like this that I really get to enjoy my job. Most of you that know me know that this is my calling and the part I enjoy most about photography. Seeing a new life come into this world and being to capture every second of pure joy. Well I am proud to say that I was there to watch this little miracle come into the world and fighting ever since! Isabella was born on October 14th @ 10:52 am, weighting 8 lbs 5 oz measuring 20 inches long. I have to say I thought I was prepared for her arrival and ready to take her portraits but boy she was not ready! I have been there three times now to try and capture her and she is a feisty little thing. She is not her mothers’ daughter for nothing!! So I am NOT going to give up and I will be back over there again next week but I wanted to share a few that we did get of her with Mommy and Daddy. Here she is so tiny and sweet.

Boy have I been a very busy little bee! I had five photo shoots in four days. I am sore all over from all the bending and laying down on the ground and weird positions to get that perfect shot! I will all be worth it in the end!!!There will be a lot of posting going on in the next week so keep checking back to see all the new faces! Meanwhile here are a few of Trystin that I took almost a month ago and neer got around to posting. She is quite the little character and has a personality all of her own! She really cracks me up!

It’s that time again! We had such a great turn out for the last mini session that we decided to bring it back with a little Christmas cheer. So come on over and join us and get a jump on your holiday portraits this year. Bring the kids, the pets the hubby and all! And we will make your Christmas cards too! Don’t wait call and book your very own unique session today. You can sign up by calling Simply Scrappin’ during normal business hours.

I had the pleasure of taking little Elise’s photographs on the day of her birth! She is just the cutest thing and is a funny little character. She seems to be all happy go lucky. She warmed up to me right away and off we went. I look forward to working with her again in the future. Thanks Elise for making my day on your special day!

This one is my favorite of the day. It really shows her bubbly personality!
